I just wanted to let you know that (whether you are in fact fair or not) - We are honoured to have been chosen as one of the sixteen startup finalists for LeWeb in Paris 4th, 5th, 6th December 2012.
So if you needed an excuse for a business trip to Paris - VoilĂ come and see us (and bring your better half - lets face it as an energy manager the other half is generally greener - or am I mixing my metaphors).

But we aren't the main event (yet) - Paris LeWeb 2012 is about "The Internet of Things" - where things like smart goodies to control energy and really important things like Facebook Like buttons are launched.
For those interested in us (why else would you be reading this - answers welcome in the comments - but keep those punches above the waste -line (pun unintentional he claimed ironically as a rhetorical ploy).
Despite our undoubted skills at
We will indeed be launching the commercial version of kWIQly and would love to see you there.
Our focus will be on a fully automated pattern recognition tool that identifies not only energy waste, but also the cause, and also justifies the claims. The smart thing is that it is based on Smart Meter Data and so supports triage of waste cases without the costs of visits.
This will be useful for anyone who is really interested in Geeky stuff - but most particularly energy managers who need to be thinking about ISO 50001.
Sorry if this post was a little triumphant - but we still haven't lost! - Which is actually a win in many respects !
Do we expect to win ? - No it seems unlikely - but nor do service people who lay down their lives for their countries - For which this memorial stands guard in Paris The Unknown Soldier - Arc de Triomphe.
If you come to Paris - take time to look around :)
